Postcard from Abroad
Dear Global Education Office,
This summer was one of the best summers in my life!
Living in Beijing was a series of adventures and surprises - mostly, I am glad that I had an opportunity to live in Beijing this year. I could tell that China is now at very critical stage, where it is transforming from the old communist China we remember to a more modernized and westernized China. There were just so many things to explore and think about.
This picture is from Xi'an, the city we visited for a long weekend excursion. It was taken in the Muslim quarter of Xi'an. Yes, this is what scorching hot weather and a lot of walking will do to you!
Thank you so much for this opportunity. I definitely want to go back to China if I have a chance in the future.
