Postcard from Abroad
Dear Global Education Office:
Studying in Cape Town, South Africa has proved to be the most rewarding travel experience thus far in my life. This is the farthest I have ever been away from home and I knew very little about South Africa before coming here. It has turned out to be a vibrant, colorful city full of culture, tradition, and incredible people, from whom I have learned a great deal.
During my time here, I have been able to volunteer for an organization that provides comprehensive care for children living with HIV/AIDS, which has made my stay here even richer. Through this experience, I feel like I am giving back to Cape Town in a small way, which is very important because the city has given so much to me.
