Dear Global Education Office:
I spent six weeks studying in Geneva, Switzerland and traveling throughout Europe. I was able to tour Switzerland, visiting a castle in Vevey, jazz festival in Montreux, a gorgeous cathedral in Fribourg, and the city of Lausanne with everything it has to offer. I experienced Barcelona, Spain's rich history, beautiful architecture and modern life, running a workout outside the Olympic stadium, touring monuments, and walking the main strip. Arles, France opened my eyes to Roman architecture and monuments. Our class went to Berlin, Germany to study the transition of a socialist society to a capitalist one as well as WWII and the Cold War. We mastered the Alps and extreme hiking in Chamonix, France. And finally the last weekend I road-tripped through Italy stopping for dinner at Cinque Terre, exploring everything that makes up Florence (David was my absolute favorite!), taking pictures at Pisa, and getting lost in Venice. I was able to experience more in those six weeks than I had ever expected.
