The Duke in Madrid (DIM) program was founded in 1989 and is sponsored by the Department of Romance Studies and the Office of Study Abroad of Duke University. Committed to a cultural studies perspective, the program aims at improving participants’ Spanish fluency and deepening their understanding of Spain and its many cultures within a global context.
