Duke in New York Summer Internships in the City

Summer 2012 program dates: May 27 to August 11

The Summer Internships in the City program provides students with the opportunity to live, learn, work, and  enjoy a summer in New York City. Students take a Summer Session I seminar cross-listed in English, Theater Studies, and Visual Studies, and work an arts and/or media internship of their choosing throughout Summer Session I and II. The program features faculty-led tours of historical neighborhoods as well as trips to Broadway and Off-Broadway plays, museums, music festivals, and other NYC events.

The Duke in New York Summer Internships in the City program is an exciting way for students to gain experience in arts and media fields, learn about the remarkable city in the classroom and on the streets, and take advantage of the city's cultural offerings. It makes for a well-rounded summer that is an unforgettable complement to the Duke experience.

Duke also offers a fall semester program, Duke in New York Arts & Media.
