Program Schedule
June 11, 2012: Students will depart the U.S. on designated flight organized by STA Travel, leaving from the west coast. Students will arrive in Australia and begin the program in Darwin on Wednesday, June 13, 2012.
Please note that students enrolled in the Duke in Australia summer program are strongly advised to take this designated international round-trip flight organized through STA Travel. Additional details on the designated flight will be provided for enrolled students in the spring.
Most student participants on the Duke in Australia summer program depart the U.S. as a group, with very few exceptions. Given the intense nature of this program, late arrival and/or early departure during the course is not permitted.
Tickets for your domestic transportation will be issued in conjunction with your international ticket utilizing fares, which are less expensive than purchasing a separate ticket.
July 13, 2012: Program end date; this is the earliest date that students can depart the program, leaving from Sydney.
