Postcard from Abroad

Dear Global Education Office:

Of all the memorable times in Australia this summer, one of the best was our stay in Daintree National Park in Queensland. Our few days there were loaded with exciting activities such as sea kayaking, horse riding, bushwalks, and my favorite, snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef. Aside from sunbathing and enjoying the beautiful beach scenery, the highlight of our day cruise was the opportunity to be within arms reach of the colorful coral reefs and marine life of the Great Barrier Reef. Some of us were even lucky enough to see sharks and sea turtles!

I highly recommend the study abroad experience for any student who wants to meet new friends and immerse themselves in a different culture, and I especially recommend Australia for its relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, amazing wildlife, and picturesque landscape.
