Postcard from Abroad

Dear Global Education Office:

Everyone has seen kangaroos, wallabies, and their relatives in pictures before. But that didn't take away from being up close and personal with them; they are really quite friendly and cuddly, to be honest. The sheer diversity and uniqueness of Australian wildlife is something I will always remember, especially as a biology major that loves the variety of life in the world.

Studying abroad in Australia was a fantastic experience: at the same time similar to home, yet different enough to truly feel like one was experiencing something new and fantastic. If possible, studying abroad is what all students should try to do, and Australia was a fantastic place for that.
