Program Expenses
The Global Semester Abroad program will charge Duke tuition plus a program fee. The GSA 2013 charges are as follows:
Tuition: $21,154
Program fee: $4,400
Duke transcript fee: $40 (non-Duke/non-Robertson Fellows only)
Sample included expenses:
- All instructional and administrative costs
- Local transportation associated with field work
- Housing
- Some meals
- Excursions
- Some laundry
- Switch flight between New Delhi and Beijing
Airfare at beginning and end of program is not included in the official program costs.
Financial Aid
Duke students receiving financial aid are eligible for aid for this program (work-study funds must be converted to loans). Students are individually responsible for making the necessary arrangements with the Office of Undergraduate Financial Aid and the Duke Bursar.
Non-Duke students are not eligible to receive financial aid at Duke and should contact their home institutions for financial aid information.
