Global Semester Abroad

Development, Environment, and Global Health in India and China

Duke students are now able to study development, environment, and global health in India and China all in one semester as part of Duke's Global Semester Abroad.

Duke faculty from the Sanford School of Public Policy Studies, the Department of Cultural Anthropology, and the Duke Global Health Institute have joined forces to offer students an exciting, indepth exploration of development, environment, and global health issues in rural and urban settings in Udaipur, India and at the Beijing University Health Sciences Center in Beijing, China. Each week, students mix classroom learning with hands-on, community-based research and exploration.
