* Students studying on the Duke in Istanbul program for the fall only can make special arrangements with their professors to take course exams or submit papers in December, rather than in January when the Bogazici semester ends. With the permission of their professors, students can also leave before the last day of classes in order to be home for winter break. These arrangements need to be made at the beginning of the semester in coordination with the Resident Director and students' professors.
