Costs & Scholarships
Spring 2013 charges will not be posted until mid Fall 2012. See below for an example of past program charges that can be used for general reference, though costs are subject to increase.
Fall 2011 program charges
Tuition: $ 20,332.50
Program fee: $ 600.00
Total charges:$20,932.50
Note: Non-Duke students pay an additional $40 lifetime transcript fee.
Total charges for non-Duke students:$20,972.50
The total amount listed above (tuition plus program fee) includes the following: course materials (including textbooks), extracurricular activities, mid-semester travel, excursions, meals, and lodging in China. Please note that program tuition does not include international airfare or costs associated with getting a visa. The Chinese roommate option costs an additional $550.
Limited scholarship funding is available for qualified Duke applicants. Scholarship applications must be submitted with the completed program application. Applicants who submit late applications will not be considered for a scholarship.
